@jacquelyn.jensenn: Not all core workouts are created equal after having a baby. If you’re doing everything but still seeing doming, coning, or a stubborn lower belly — this is why 👇 🚫 DON’Ts ✖️ Crunches & sit-ups too soon ✖️ Planks without core control ✖️ Holding your breath ✖️ “Suck it in” cues ✖️ Training abs like pre-baby ✅ DOs ✔️ Reconnect to your breath ✔️ Engage deep core + pelvic floor together ✔️ Start with slow, intentional movement ✔️ Exhale on effort ✔️ Progress only when control is there Your core isn’t weak — it’s disconnected. Heal it first. Strength comes next. Save this for your postpartum journey 🤍 Comment CORE if you want workouts that actually support your body after birth. #postpartumfitness #diastasisrecti #postpartumcore #deepcore #momfitness
how do I make sure to activate the muscles correctly to prevent doming?

My issue is my core is strong and I feel absolutely nothing from what you are showing. Granted I don't believe I have DR because I've checked and my spacing is less than two fingers. I'm just not good at engaging my core. It's taking a lot of work.

My back is naturally very arched. I find when doing the sit up variations of the “do this” portion of the video - I don’t feel it in my core.. what can I do instead or do to help this?
