As a cashier, this guy is making our job even harder than it is. This will only cuz longer lines because everyone is gonna wanna have each item checked and we are not allowed to reduce price only the mark down people are. And then people will be complaining why the line is getting longer because nowwww every cashier is gonna have to wait to check down a price while the other one is also checking for another customer.

You are partially correct! However, a manager will not markdown the item just because it’s almost time for the next markdown. They have procedures and The system will not allow it. However, a manager can markdown an item that missed a markdown or if its defective or if the item was a mismate. But those that shop at Marshall’s know if you wait or walk away that item will probably already be gone and sold. Lol

Okay, so if a jeans are $17. And they haven’t been marked down. DONT buy them, drive back home. Come back in another week, waste another 2-3 hrs throwing kids in car, driving, shopping, etc to buy them at $13. So people think saving $4 is more important than saving 2-3 hrs? 😳…. you can’t trade money for time. 🤷🏽♂️
