@albabez94: If you’ve been through this, you’ll know EXACTLY what I mean… There’s a FREE way to see the Statue of Liberty if you don’t want to pay for an expensive ticket to go up close and personal (each to their own). Thanks to social media, everyone now knows the hack: take the Staten Island Ferry, it goes right past the statue and costs nothing!🗽 But because this has become so popular, sales assistants have changed their tactics. Along the walk to the ferry, there are 6–7 “checkpoints” where people deliberately try to block your path, confuse you, and pretend they’re “helping.” They’ll tell you the ferry isn’t good or is crammed, or that the real Statue of Liberty boat is somewhere else. It isn’t. In fact once everyone is in the boat it’s very spacious. Best advice? Ignore them and keep walking. And notice this too 👀 They hate being recorded, because they know exactly what they’re doing…it’s not right. Save this before your NYC trip.
