Honestly when I was in school, adequate sleep was the only essential I had. That and I re-wrote my lecture PowerPoints myself so I didn’t only hear and see it, I was also writing it and memorizing while I did that. Other advice, create your best acronyms for things like lab values or Sx/Tx. Will make studying hilarious and memorable! Got a 98% in patho/phys/pharm. got As in all other classes and I did 12-month RN-BSN program which was actual hell. But if you want to get your degree fast then it’s worth the work

I'm glad you mentioned stethoscope. A lot of nurses work in the acute care setting without a stethoscope. Makes you wonder how they do their assessments
