What are your feelings about disclosing a personal reason for wanting the role? For example, if I’m looking to relocate closer to family, is that something you recommend sharing in addition to the professional impact? Or would you leave that out completely?

Why do HRs ask the these questions separately in one interview? What do they expect to hear differently “why should I hire you”, “tell me about yourself”, “what makes you the right person in this role”. I feel the HRs come unprepared to the interview themselves, just throwing in questions that are repetitive and expect the candidate come up with new words? Frankly, I lose my interest in such companies.

My answer I had an interview on Monday with silhouette optical company and my answer to Y silhouette wine now? Was because I’m comfortable with your product able to fit it able to adjust it and troubleshoot it but more so overall I love teaching I love finding those moments where opticians find in the repair intimidating, and I love finding teachable relatable, simplistic ways. This is the value and impact that I would bring the silhouette product, confidence and teach with ease and relatability.
