I wanted to ask for your opinion concerning an ovarian cyst issue I’ve been dealing with. In 2024, I did a scan and was told I had a cyst measuring about 3–4 cm. At first, I was told I might need surgery, but after doing more scans, another doctor said it looked like something that could be managed medically and prescribed antibiotics. Later, another doctor gave me Evening Primrose and birth control pills because I wasn’t seeing my period regularly. I was told the cyst was likely a simple cyst and that it could shrink within a few months. However, I did another scan again in February this year (2026), and the cyst is still there. I’ve also been having persistent lower back pain and discomfort around my lower abdomen from time to time, even currently. I’m a bit worried because I thought simple cysts usually shrink within 3–6 months. Please, could you kindly advise me on what this could mean and what next step you think I should take?

I had a 8cm tumor removed with ovary and fallopian tube. Waiting on pathology as they took biopsies on tumor and wall. Surgeon said looks like a fibroma tumor. Would this be the cause of my slight elevated calcium and my hair falls out a lot? Does this sound cancerous or boarderline? Waiting over three half weeks now.
