@isabellaaroundtheworld: A road trip you need to do at least once in your life: Tuscany edition 🇮🇹🤌 Day 1️⃣ Start in Lucca, an underrated Tuscan gem, then head into the countryside. End the day in the fairytale town of Certaldo. Tip: If it’s your first time, add 1–2 days in Florence at the start. Day 2️⃣ Early morning in San Gimignano before the crowds. Continue to Colle di Val d’Elsa for the Sentierelsa Trail — perfect to cool off midday. If you have time, stop in Volterra and stay for sunset. Day 3️⃣ Explore Siena in the morning, then visit Buonconvento. Finish the day in Crete Senesi for one of the most iconic sunsets in Tuscany. Day 4️⃣ Scenic drive through Val d’Orcia with plenty of cypress photo stops. Walk to the Vitaleta Chapel, then head to Pienza, one of my favorite fairytale towns. Stay overnight if you can — sunsets here are unreal. Day 5️⃣ Morning in Montepulciano, famous for its wine. Drive on to Monticchiello, my favorite hidden gem, then stop in Castiglione d’Orcia. Sunset at the Orcia viewpoint. Day 6️⃣ Very early start for Terme di Saturnia — arrive at sunrise to avoid crowds. Free, beautiful, and worth the soak. Continue to Montemerano and end in Pitigliano, an incredible town built on volcanic rock. You could easily spend another week on this route — there are so many more fairytale towns to explore ✨ #tuscany #roadtrip #italy
