The freezer in my refrigerator wouldn't freeze anything. I didn't know what the problem was, and luckily I unscrewed the back part myself and cleaned the cooling fins ,That was the problem! Since then, I clean it at least every six months.

DO THIS on the newer fridges! Our compressor went out on our 3 year old fridge - one tech call & $700 later we learned to clean EXACTLY where this guy just showed us!

I always do this once a year but also do coils in front too. Then I reverse my shop vac and blow the dust bunnies out from back to front. You won't believe how many hop out!

Why do they put that on the back now and the older refrigerators was right on the front just pulled the thing off in the front and vacuumed off the grill

I bought that exact refrigerator from Home Depot with a 2 year warranty. a month after the warranty was up the fridge died. yes I did vacuum out the back and clean out dust/fur every few months. I ended up bringing our old fridge that's almost 20 years old out of the basement and put it in the kitchen which works perfect it's just a little smaller. I'll never buy an appliance from Home Depot ever again
