Its 100% on production. I'm not going to blame the players. If they see people talking and production is doing nothing.. they either gotta do it too or fall behind socially. If I'm playing a game for a million dollars, I'm not gonna put myself at a disadvantage just so I can act morally superior. There's a million ways production could have stopped or prevented this.

Before 49 came out they announced a cheat gate where 2 players got kicked off last minute and subbed in Jason and MC so I’m sure Sophie and Jake were part of that but they didn’t wanna sub in 4 people? Not sure but I do remember the announcement about 2 others

its literally on production bc while I don't like cheating what I'm not gonna do is pretend like A MILLION DOLLARS isn't life changing. I can empathize with anyone who wanted to find any kind of a leg up to get to that money.
