@joexfitness: This is my client Emma's 50lbs weight loss journey ❤️ At first it was an uphill battle. Emma came to our program feeling more lost than ever before in her life. Mentally she said she was at the worst place she's been in a long time and that led to her physically being in the worst shape that she's been in a long time. But when she came to us she told us that she had enough. She wanted to see results and she was willing to put in the time and effort. But this wasn't her first attempt to start her weight loss journey. There was a constant on-and-off-against cycle. Those are always the hardest to work through. So we started by making her a nutrition plan that actually worked for her. Something that she can look forward to eating every single day with tasty recipes that were not only nutritious but also insanely good! These are not your typical chicken breast, rice, and broccoli meal preps 😂 Think more like a Korean Bulgogi BBQ meal prep :) And quickly week after week she started to lose one pound every single week. But what was also important was to make sure that she is building muscle so that she can create a physique that she's always wanted: lean and toned but also have the strength to support her for her future. So we tailored a program to her abilities working around her injuries and progressing with her as she got more experienced. We had weekly check-ins with her as well as daily communication to make sure that each week we made consistent results. And if some weeks didn't go as planned, how to strategize and pivot so that the next week always went a little better. Soon enough she lost 54 pounds and made her health and fitness a part of her lifestyle for good 🎉 But what I'm more beyond proud of to see is just how happy she is now regarding her self-confidence, her mental health, her self-love, and the way in which she navigates her day-to-day life as a busy woman who works a full-time job, while making sure to keep her health and fitness at a priority.
