My kid thinks Santa eats gingerbread houses. The other day she asks where it went and I said Santa ate it. She proceeds to cry because she had put her boogers on it and forgot Santa eats them. Proceeded to cry more when I asked why she was putting boogers on her gingerbread houses… she looks at me all serious and says “I was collecting them”. Now she wants to send him an apology letter.

Tonight I had dinner delivered because I solo parented. My son comes out of his room (he’s supposed to be sleeping) and takes a bite of my chicken sandwich and then goes back to bed. 😐

Yesterday my husband got a chicken sandwich on the way home from work and saved me half so I offered it to my 5 year old first and she said no so I ate it and when I was done she cried because I ate her half of the sandwich so I offered her the cookie she didnt eat the night prior and she said 'you probably ate that too'

Yesterday my 4 yr old threw a massive tantrum because he didn’t want the nice salmon dinner I made, so I made what he requested - a raspberry jam and butter sandwich, on the special hot dog bun he wanted, when it was ready for him he yelled he in fact - did not want this. I told him he could either eat the salmon or the exact thing he requested - he lost his shit.
