Why is it that different surgeons have different recommendations in regards to when to start regular exercise again (i.e weightlifting, high HR exercises). I have seen surgeons recommend anything from 3 weeks , to 6 weeks. Just wondering why the difference? is it EBP?

My doctor told me an osteotomy was done, but after two months my nose is still not refined, and the bone feels hard and unchanged. This makes me ask whether the osteotomy was truly performed. Am I wrong to think this?
