My best friend in HS and throughout my 20s was a girl. Zero attraction or anything weird between us, just great friends that talked about everything and always had each others back. I eventually got married and she did too, she was great friends with my wife and I was tight with her husband. She passed away about 5 years ago. Miss her every day
