@annie_in_sydney: vietnam airlines! first time flying with them and I didn’t have a great experience with their domestic flights within vietnam so didn’t have high hopes. we had delays departing as they suddenly wanted to check that no one bought water onto the flight… so strange. apart from that this 9.5 hour flight was great. the seat was comfortable but as someone who is 165cm I usually don’t have much problem with leg room. If your sitting in the middle seat there is a weird box that is in your way which you might want to consider. I loved that each seat had hooks and it was perfect to put my bag as I found there wasn’t much space in th sleeves in front of the seat. I was most surprised to see that the economy bathrooms had amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste and razors. Next the food was delicious! I haven’t heard great things online but we had braised beef for dinner and congee for breakfast! Both were excellent. The congee was way better in my opinion as it had chicken and goji berries. #vietnamairlines #vietnam #hanoi #travel #airline
