-These are the exercises I do to run pain-free. The first four exercises are to encourage my lateral hip muscles and glutes to fire. I am also strengthening those muscles groups to add stability to my hip. -Also if you look up Chris Powers hip program he has other exercises similar to the first three. I usually hold for 45 seconds two times on each side. -The Copenhagen planks kill me but they are so so good for strengthening hip abductors and adductors. I try to hold as long as a I can 2 times on each side. -The SL RDLS are good at combining all the muscle groups we have been working on but also adding some single limb balance in there.
