@davidmeltzer: One of the biggest misunderstandings I see is around asking for help. When you refuse to ask or receive, you think you are protecting yourself, but what you are really doing is limiting growth on both sides. Every time you do not ask someone who is capable of helping you, you take away their opportunity to feel useful, purposeful, and aligned with their highest self. Service works both ways, and receiving is part of giving. Growth accelerates when we allow others to contribute. Asking is not weakness, and receiving is not selfish. It is an invitation for everyone involved to rise together.
