"Flippers" are the reason why there's practically no affordable, high quality, secondhand furniture. $395 for a chair you did nothing to that someone who actually wants to keep it could have paid 40 for is insane.

i have an ethical issue with resellers who add NO value to the items they’re reselling. ruining thrift

TLDR: Stop painting wood unless it can’t be restored otherwise 😘

As a girl in her 30s, we love actual hardwood in amazing condition. All stores have nowadays is composite- give us the grandma furniture thats been restored to its original beauty!

As a millennial I’m looking for solid wood or heirloom finds. Not your hobby lobby crafty looking furniture

that is an absolutely egregious markup for having done zero restorative work.. this is why i don’t even entertain marketplace listings that’s price is more than 2 digits

Absolutely love all of the items you’ve listed & spent time curating but idk.. $50 to $450 for doing nothing to the chair doesn’t sit right with me

I forever say: it is a SIN to paint all of the good antiques or vintage items 😭😭 my grandma gave me her 1800s china hutch and said “maybe you can paint it. It’s junk”…..GIRL WHAT. I WOULD NEVER.

From a 49 year old woman - great advice. I hate seeing nice old furniture destroyed for no reason.

I really wish people would stop outing themselves as "having done nothing!!! 😃" to furniture pieces and then upselling them for hundreds more. Leave some for the rest of us that are thrifty but don't have hundreds to spend on a single chair you don't even sanitize.
