My readiness and sleep scores 85-90 and i don’t drink. Sleep 7-8 hrs. I only have 1 coffee at 9am. Hrv is like 16-20. Am i just constantly under random stress? My stress levels seem low and my resilience is strong and all

I think it’s worth noting that if you’re on a GLP-1 it can absolutely tank your HRV, readiness score and sleep. I was getting 90-95 readiness scores with HRV 40-50+ AS soon as I started the shot it tanked. This is a whole diff ballgame

lol me with a consistent bedtime, only drink decaf, and only having one or two drinks total throughout a Friday/Saturday and still having an HRV in the 16-25 range.

I eat whole foods mostly plant based diet(Mediterranean on weekends), walk 12k steps daily minimum, light weights, lots of water, and daily vitamins and electrolytes. What am I missing? My average is like mid 20’s 😭

I would love to raise my HRV and I am working on getting better sleep however, the reason I don’t sleep enough is to be able to work out 1-2 times a day. I only drink 1 coffee a day in the morning. Any additional tips?

My sleep score is always decent, I basically don’t drink, and I don’t have caffeine late in the day but my average hrv the last year is 15-17 😅

Mine is horrible (20s on a good day) I sleep well but under constant stress and anxiety. I think i’ve tried it all. Saw a slight dip then increase though after working out/walking.

If you have a high heart rate in general will your HRV be lower? My HRV is really low ….like 16 average but I don’t know why…

Functional med MD here — I LOVE everything you said in this video. Thank you for sharing it. Totally agree with using some type of tracker to personalize your own care too. Tracking your own data is honestly one of the quickest ways we can see what your nervous system is actually doing, not just what it feels like it’s doing.
I see this with my patients all the time: once we can map the pattern, we can finally personalize what moves the needle — whether it’s regulating the stress rhythm, stabilizing blood sugar, or reducing stimulation before bed.
Such a great breakdown. I really appreciate you putting this out there.
