Copa law affects building owners not private homes its designed to give tenants the chance to own property. So its not bad for tenants

okay, so to my understanding C.O.P.A affects landlords who owns buildings/property with three or more units. first pick are nonprofits or land trusts who has an 180 days or less ? (not entirely sure) to submit their offers or match it.

this creator explained it very well actually. at the end of the day it may at some point benefit renters but the nonprofit is using taxpayer dollars to acquire buildings. on top of that it's around about way of getting rid of private ownership of things and giving it to the government if they really wanted to not make it be like full on socialism why didn't they just offer a tax incentive to the building owner to sell to a non profit?
