Tap for the location & itinerary ✨ Welcome to Dresden, one of the most beautiful and underrated cities in Germany 🧡 Here’s my mini guide to Dresden: How to get to Dresden: You can either get a connecting flight to Dresden or fly into Berlin or Prague and then... 🚂 2 hours direct from Berlin 🚗 Just over 2 hours by car from Berlin or Prague 🚌 Around 2.5 hours by FlixBus You can easily visit Dresden without a car; it’s a super walkable city with great public transport. I highly recommend going on the @stadtrundfahrtdresden (the Hop on Hop off bus tour). Super informative & an easy way to see the spots around the city (including the Dresdner Molkerei Gebrüder Pfund). Spots you can’t miss in Dresden: 📍 Brühl’s Terrace (the “Balcony of Europe” overlooking the Elbe) 📍Frauenkirche (climb to the top for an incredible sunset view) 📍Semperoper (Dresden’s grand opera house) 📍Elbe River Promenade (perfect for golden hour) 📍Dresden Schlossplatz (beautiful historic square) 📍Dresdner Molkerei Gebrüder Pfund (the world’s most beautiful dairy shop) 📍Kreuzkirche Viewpoint (climb for views over the Christmas markets) 📍Blasewitz villa district (take the tram up for gorgeous views) 📍Zwinger Palace (visit the courtyard at sunrise) Nearby places to add on: 📍Schloss Moritzburg 📍Spreewald Biosphere Reserve 📍Saxon Switzerland National Park 📍Rakotzbrücke 📍Schloss Wackerbarth Don’t forget to follow @livingourmemories for more underrated spots in Europe and beyond. - #underratedspots #traveleurope #europeantravel #visitdresden - @livingourmemories
