Crazy thing is, I feel uncomfortable sitting behind the Uber driver. As much as I feel uncomfortable I know the driver do as well, so I try to make the ride comfortable for both of us.

I only sit behind the driver when it’s more than just me otherwise I prefer not too it just feels weird but also I have a car now so I no longer use uber unless I’m out of town

As a ride share driver I prefer them not to sit behind me but if they do I really don’t care and I also had many passengers get in on the driver side and scoop over to the other side

As use uber all the time and I always sit behind the passenger side as a sign of respect and so no one’s uncomfortable. And it doesn’t matter what side they are picking me up from , just walk to the other side simple as that

We all think differently, but I wouldn’t want anyone sitting behind me. Especially, when it gets later, so I don’t sit behind the driver either. Also, I got in a ride once. Where the guy had a briefcase or something like that behind him. I’m assuming, so no one would sit behind him.
