I was you…last year. I didn’t think I could pull them off. The little devil on my shoulder finally convinced me they were just fancy Roper boots. I got my first pair of Roper’s when I was 4 years old. I bought a Wesco Mister Lou, and now I’m fully corrupted. Now I’ve got multiple engineers from Wesco, White’s, John Lofgren, and Nicks.

Look into a moccasin style “engineer” boot. I would barely call them an engineer but buckle style, super comfortable. Personally love Gokey and Russell moccasin.

See I thought that as well but then I tried a pair of John Lofgrens and they’re genuinely the nicest pair of boots I’ve ever had. Wear them every day now I don’t even care what people think. They don’t look that much different than chelseas to be fair under straight denim
