When I took my STD leave 4 weeks before my due date I stopped to think of the women in other states that literally have to work right till a week before and that’s horrible… 🥺

32 weeks. Working up till my induction date if she doesnt come before. Only getting 8 weeks off. Luckily theyll be paid but after that - I gotta come back because I cannot afford to NOT be paid the remaining 4 weeks 😭😭😭

It’s awful! I’m 35 weeks with my first and I’m a pe teacher who is on my feet all day long and my back is killing me, I’m physically and mentally exhausted 😭 but I have to work until I go into labor to get FMLA

I’m 39 weeks this week and started my leave on Monday and I’ve been so stressed and mad at myself for starting leave before I have my baby but I truly couldn’t work anymore. Either way is hard. You’ve got this mama! Prayers!!!!

I can take 4 weeks with my pto then I’m expected to come back to care for & teach OTHER PEOPLE’S KIDS while mine is with someone else. I hate it here.

I'm 35 weeks, I work in childcare, and I'm so ready to be off. The carpal tunnel is strong right now and picking up the kids and changing diapers is difficult. I technically have less than 4 weeks left, but I'm ready. I can't start any claims yet.

My thoughts being 23 weeks pregnant a hospital med/ surg nurse on my feet 12+ hours a day and people constantly needing something/ talking to me. Taking care of others is so hard rn and it gets harder everyday
