I accidentally hit the laugh emoji comment and then deleted it because I was not trying to laugh at you reading a nice quote. Although I did legitimately laugh at your cat photo bombing you with his tail the whole time. I saw it as a subtle reminder that even if you're not giving Princess Donut her due, your cat knows what's up.

I wasn’t sure I was going to continue the series. It rode a fine line in some ways that made me unsure. I could tell it was satire but sometimes that doesn’t mean as much about the author’s values as I’d want it to and there are so, so many authors coming out with racist/sexist/homophobic views lately… And then the Yolanda scene hit and I cried and it was so, so obvious where the heart of this series was. I was immediately all in. (I’m now dying waiting for book 8)
