Lake Dallas mom here. Out of 1250 kids enrolled in the HS only 125 were present yesterday. I kept my little girl home not because we didn’t feel safe but because she didn’t. Our schools took extra precautions but she was a little freaked out

We are one of the schools listed as well. We kept our kids out of school yesterday, but they said they were going to unexcused the absences. So messed up. Feels like they only care about their funding not our kids safety.

I live in Fort Worth & yes, it's been going around. Its a sketchy video & IF it's true, the way I think, I'd be focusing on the schools NOT on the list, not the ones this threat says to be focused on. Makes more sense

Parent of an EMS-ISD kid. Yes this is true, I saw it on the news in yesterday morning. They said FBI is looking into it and they believe the threat is coming from outside the country. Our district also sent out a letter to inform families. Either way I feel uneasy.
