y'all don't realise the ozone is thinner above Aus then the rest of the world.. it may get to the same/higher in some other countries, but in Aus you get that heat + more radiation and burning skin within 20-30 minutes

I don't think people are aware of how dangerous the heat and UV rays are in Australia. The ozone layer is literally the thinnest in our country, and the sun strikes us more frequently. More UV radiation penetrates the ground due to Australia's thinner ozone layer, particularly in the west. The sun is more direct because we are closer to the equator than many other nations.
