It is medically called a spontaneous abortion, BUT this is NOT the same as an elective abortion. When the states want to end abortion they are referring to elective abortions NOT spontaneous abortions.

Lila, I am PRO LIFE and Christian, I had a miscarriage in 2014 and had to have a A&D to pass the baby, unfortunately all paperwork and doctors called in an abortion which actually broke my heart even than and I asked them over and over if the wording in the paperwork can be different 💔

If this has happened to you, you’re not going to say you had an abortion if it was a miscarriage. Some people are saying this is a technical term used. I’m not gonna say it is where it isn’t. But when you’re speaking about it, you are not going to say it was an abortion. Nobody would do that unless it was true. That’s all I’m gonna say. If she was anyone else, I wouldn’t even say this. abortion is just the term healthcare professionals use for a miscarriage. when i was going through one myself on my paperwork they classified it as an abortion but no one gave me one. 🙄

So I somewhat get it. laws are unclear and want to ban even medically nessesary abortions. I sadly had to have one with a blighted ovum. so maybe that's why she said it
