My GMA would wake up here and there 😢 she would shout out ahhhh and had a death rattle. But if you pet or talked to her she calmed down

My mom was super chatty the day before her last day. She wanted me on the bed next to her. For awhile. The next morning she was clearly not there, but she did hold my hand. I will always be grateful for that.

I was with my grandmother yesterday when she passed away. It was the most peaceful death. She was 91 and went so quick. Within 8 hours. I got there at 4:45pm and she was pronounced at 5:24pm. I just hope she knew I was there.

Your videos have helped me so much! My dad is terminal - mesothelioma. Not actively dying yet, but in the next 4 to 9 months if nothing changes. Now I know what to watch out for and I'm not scared of it. It's always heartbreaking to lose a loved one but at least I know what to look for and how to prepare myself and him. And also helps me communicate with his caregivers. Hospice will start soon. Not that I didn't have it before, but my level of appreciation for the people caring for my dad he has leveled up exponentially because if the knowledge I've gained from your page. Thank you for your content! 🫶

I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the content you put out. My mother in law left this earth yesterday on hospice with vascular dementia. Your videos have helped me and my family tremendously. We have been her full time caregivers for over 3 years and having you as a resource has been the biggest blessing. You gave me knowledge on so much about the dying process. We are all still grieving, but knowing what we watched and experienced was actually a peaceful death made it easier. God bless you and thank you so much!

Do you have any info on lung cancer pt with brain mets? My mom is currently on hospice and has been in a 4 month plateau. Total time since brain mets appeared is 7 months (4 of those months have been on hospice) I am totally baffled by this. Hard to find info. She has some decline…but nothing linear at all. She has some bad days, then resets. Need help with certain things everyday…some symptoms some of the days and the next day is back to baseline which is needing help with certain things, etc.

Thank you for this. My dad died a few weeks ago. I’d heard about the death rattle and agonal breathing, but I’d never heard anyone talk about the eyes and mouth being open like that. I’ve been beating myself up, reliving it over and over, wondering if I’d done something wrong, if he was in pain. He was in the hospital and no one told me anything.

I think my dad had the most peaceful death. 4 of us were standing around him. I had my hands-on his shoulder. And he died when we were done praying

My husband literally was sitting up having a normal conversation with me two hours prior to him taking his final breath.. and then he just went completely like unresponsive mouth open eyes open. I'm never gonna get that picture out of my head.😞
