This deeply resonates with me and countless others across America. As citizens, we must unite against the corruption of certain politicians who prioritize their interests over the lives of individuals. It’s clear that Renee Nicole Good was frightened and trying to escape a terrifying situation. Yet, some in the Republican Party mischaracterize her actions, claiming she was obstructing or violently resisting. In this tragic event, there are three perspectives: the Republican narrative, the Democratic narrative, and the truth. Clear video evidence shows that she was in distress, backing up in fear, with her lights on in reverse. Meanwhile, the ICE officer had drawn his weapon, aiming it at her before she drove away. There’s no evidence that she harmed him in any way. Despite the claims against her, it’s crucial to recognize that she was not the one in the wrong; rather, the actions of ICE raise serious questions. God sees all, and I believe in a higher power that is just and unbiased, regardless of background, culture, or race. This was a woman with her entire life ahead of her, leaving behind three children. All lives matter, and it’s disheartening to see a world driven by the greed and power of billionaires. Justice is essential for her family and for all others who have suffered at the hands of ICE. This agency poses a threat to minorities, and we must stand together against this violence. No life should be lost, and families should not be torn apart by this administration. We may not possess the wealth that billionaires do, but we are all human, deserving of purpose and dignity in this world. It’s time to rise against corrupt politicians and advocate for our rights.
