i noticed that the mark he painted on his cheek is the same cheek the Zeyrel (Sarentu mark) gets put on, yet instead of swooping downward like the Zeyrel his mark swoops upward. I think it's because he sees the sarentus (all 5) as bonds akin to family but hadn't outright claimed them as family until the end of the dlc 🥲 the sweet man just wanted something familiar to his new family while he raised every RDA base to the ground to find them
