"WANDA vs DARK JOSIE" — a reimagining of Marvel's Scarlet Witch and Legacies' Dark Josie, where the most dangerous thing in the room is the girl who keeps everything you give her. WHY JOSIE TAKES THE FIRST HALF Because firing magic at a siphoner is a donation. She canonically absorbs incoming spells, so the opening scarlet bolt does not hit her she catches it, drinks it, and spends it on a sleeping curse, environmental witchcraft and a mind trap. By the end of Part Two, Wanda is unconscious inside a sealed mindscape with a cracked crown and Josie is the one holding the room. WHY WANDA WINS She stops throwing projectiles and starts changing the RULES: probability, architecture, gravity, reflections and finally the mindscape itself. A siphoner can absorb a spell; she cannot absorb a rule. Wanda has far more routes around absorption than Josie has counters for, and the finish goes after the persona rather than the girl she walks into the shared subconscious, separates the accumulated dark magic from the host, and destroys the alter ego as a freestanding shadow and then she kills her. The persona is ripped out of her chest and the stolen scarlet is dragged out of her body with it: blood, no breath, no pulse, and the camera sits on the corpse while Wanda walks away. VERDICT: Wanda, decisively but she loses the first half, and that is the fight. And this one does not end in a separation: it ends with a body on the floor. WHO SHOULD'VE WON?
