It’s not even the weather. It’s the people (mainly those above the age of forty). Bureaucracy also plays a part in it, things go slower and aren’t digitalised, which leads to ore stress. Many Germans above a certain age in general are judgmental and grumpy about that, the weather, and honestly showing any positivity. But I always tell fellow immigrants that having immigrant friends will save you because that’s what saved me 🙏🩷 I work in retail and a customer cried and told me they only had one German friend and asked how I did it, I told her immigrants stick together. It’s the only way to do it.
