@blussomly: Replying to @Crystal_Joy 🇨🇦 Here’s how to stop saying „idk why I am like this“ … and actually find out 🧚♀️ Today on stoicism but make it cute, we’re talking about self-awareness. We’re covering four important things that you need to know about yourself and how to approach becoming more self-aware. As always, there’s a lot more to say about everything I’m mentioning! This video is meant only as an easy-to-digest introduction to the topic. You can find a longer version of this going into more detail in the 15th issue of my newsletter, the Soft Stoic Letter, coming out on Tuesday the 13th of Jan. (🔗 in bio) 💌 - 🤍 grab the stoic girl starter pack thru the 🔗 in my b10 to become not only self-aware but also build lasting mental clarity and resilience. - Also lil disclaimer: pls take this with a grain of salt, I'm not trying to mock anyone, this is for funsies (and a bit of education). It is just me trying to approach a rather "dry" topic of a philosophy that's been branded in a very tough and masculine way in the past through a modern and humorous lens. Hope you likey and hope you learned something today! Stay self-aware out there 🧸🤎 🏷️ stoicism for women , resilience , know yourself , how to know myself , patterns , habits , dream life , emotional regulation , anxiety , psychology , mindset shift , overthinking , that girl energy , #overthinking #fyppp #stoicism #thatgirlenergy #mindsetshift

Premeditatio Malorum is my way to go. I look at my workday and visualize the day. The people, the machines, computers, etc. I look at the risks and worst case scenarios and this prevents me from panicking and paralyzing myself by unexpected scenarios and it works great for me. I have a great set of standard rules and tactics

"idk why I am like this" is such a perfect example of a question that feels productive but goes nowhere. it's abstract enough that your brain can spin on it forever. the shift is going concrete: not "why am I like this" but "what specifically just happened, and what did I feel in my body." one is a loop, the other has an exit.
