This is not a harness, it is a leash attached to headrest. Not safe.

They sell crash-tested harnesses. I'd look there first. Regular harnesses buckled in won't cut it in a crash

I have one that clips on to the seat belt, it's much safer than this.

Is it of substantial strength? I need one for a 100+ pound dog. I have a study one that connects to the seatbelt buckle but I need a really sturdy one that works with the headrest.

its not that sturdy. the ring holding it together bends and comes apart and it slides right off

He’s only work if the dog is wearing a harness in the car. Most dogs don’t wear harnesses.
