I saw Ice for the first time in my city today. It was a huge black pick up truck with all the lights, but no markings. And 2 men loaded to the teeth with weapons and black jackets that simply said police. Their vehicle was blocking the street. The two men were standing in front of one of our Asian nail salons. These women are part of our community, I teach their children in school, they are our friends. Their stance and mannerisms left me feeling that I may hear a growl. Acting so threatening. It was as if they were ready to run into an underground bunker in Gaza. But no, they were going into a nail salon, in the United States of America.🥲
