I know it’s a breed thing but Dobermans with their floppy ears are cute too. I had a dog with cropped ears I don’t think I’d do it again but that’s just my opinion

I would like to say there is a difference between cropping ears. An posting/taping ears. Cropping actually takes away part of the ear. Where posting/taping. Takes the natural ear an helps it stand up an doesnt take any flesh from the ear. I saw alot of confusion in the comments. This video. There is no cropping involved just taping

I have 4 German Shorthaired Pointers. 2 had their tails shortened per standard breeding and 2 have not because of nee laws and it being ‘inhumane’. The 2 who have their full tails have had several painful tail injuries. My 2 with the short ‘docked’ tails have never had an issue. So whats really more humane? I have my opinion…

To all that say that this is inhumane. I say BS. It’s more inhumane not to have their ears and tails done. Dobermans are done to prevent broken ear cartilage and ear infections which are chronic to this breed and regarding tail docking it’s also to prevent broken damage to the tails (which is extremely painful and quite common).
