A lot of the temples sell that hair in other to keep the temples open, and do repairs etc. so I would consider temple hair to be ethical, as the people know that’s why the hair is being sold for and it’s important to their culture to keep these temples open

I donated my hair to a cancer patient to make her a customized wig. I felt so happy helping out. Her family sent us pictures once she got it and I felt so good seeing the smile on her face❤

Hair is often stolen from women in India. They will drive round on motorcycles, forcibly cut it off from the women, and drive off. It is really traumatising for the women as they often have super long hair. So no, human hair is not ethically sourced, if it’s cheap.

My gym teacher used to let his hair grow out and cut it to donate it for a wig or extensions
