In Huntington, West Virginia, there was also a club that let 18 year olds in and I grew up going there as a scene kid. Pretty much the same thing as LA

Early 2000’s the mayor of my small rural Michigan town started an 18- club for teens called Club X if my memory serves. The entrance looked like a school drop off. Little timid me did not know what to do. 😂🤦🏻‍♂️

omg we had a scene club night in Melbourne called Bang too! I wonder if they were inspired by the LA club 🤔 The photos would be printed in our local free music magazine and it was such a big deal if you ended up in there
