I always found it strange that I was a baritone and my instructor, who is a classically trained baritone with a F#4 top, gave me a crazy look when I sung a A4# the first day of lessons. I didn’t know it wasn’t the typical range of a baritone at the time. My low notes are so inconsistent though. After A2 I’m struggling.

That’s actually normal F♯4–G4 is where most voices need to lighten up.
If you try keep it in chest, you’ll push.
Lean into a head mix instead. Hope this helps 🙏
