1st: Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size → turn off Auto-Brightness. Next: go back to Accessibility → Face ID & Attention → turn off Attention-Aware Features. Then restart your iPhone. It stopped the dimming issue for me. But if your phone is really hot, there are cases where it still dims automatically. If it’s not hot but keeps dimming, these steps fixed it on my end.
