Former flight attendant here ✈️A few important things to know about using a baby bassinet on flights: With our airline, bassinets were only allowed for babies up to 8 months, max. 11 kg (24 lbs) and 67 cm (26 in). Safety is the most important part: When the baby is in the bassinet, it must be zipped closed at all times. If it wasn’t, we gave one warning — otherwise the bassinet had to be removed. Turbulence can happen unexpectedly. Bassinets are not allowed during taxi, takeoff or landing. These rules apply to most airlines, though exact policies may differ. Hope this helps anyone planning to request a bassinet for their next flight. Safe travels
