I think rapid photo cycling is overrated. Having a frame that looks more like artwork, and changing it once a day would be pretty nice, and that way we would focus more on the quality of the photo rather than just dumping our camera roll to it.

Cool idea, but the length it time it takes to change a photo while flashing is very ugly. The whole benefit of photo displays is be able to cycle though different photos, but unless you want it to change once per day at 4am when you’re sleeping, I would just get a regular screen that plugs in.

Love it, the e-ink war on full color and saturation can only lead to good consumer outcomes. If my hallway had poster size e-ink display I’d never need to reprint anything when my tastes change
