It can be very lonely but it’s also so amazing and also not lonely that I don’t want people to only focus on the bad because I think that’s what everyone assumes when they hear solo travel

the best part of solo travel for me is staying in hostels and meeting people! All my best stories are with people I've met during my travels.

I've done alot of solo trips (long and short stays) and used to love it but my most recent trip I think will be my last. For the first time ever I really felt the loneliness creep in and instead wanted to be able to share all the experiences with family or friends. 🥹

It can be lonely for sure but it also opens you up to chance encounters, there’s always pros and cons with solo travelling and travelling with mates/partner
