So passenger is an idiot, but cop blatantly admitted to a retaliatory punishment because of him pleading the fifth amendment. Which may not even be suitable for this situation if he wasn’t being suspected of a crime. I would think there is precedent that states if a car is suspected of a crime it is acceptable for the police to identify the entirety of the vehicles passengers and inventory. (To an extent and with some caveats of course)
