Most people hear
Most people hear "trading is a scam" and think I mean nobody makes money. That's not it. I think most of what's sold online about trading is a lie, and it has nothing to do with whether the skill itself works.
 The guy telling you to quit your 9-5 and trade full time isn't even doing what he's selling you, and that should piss you off. 

He's telling you to walk away from a job with a direct, linear relationship between effort and income, for something with no such relationship at all. Mentorship has that predictability. For example - If he charges 1000 euros. Lands 5 students, He know he’s making 5000. 

Trading has no version of that. I can take 10 trades and make 30,000, or lose 10,000, or land somewhere in between. There's no way to promise a number, because it's probabilistic, not linear.
 That's the actual lie. Not that trading doesn't work. It's the transparency, or the total lack of it. But I’m not talking about profits, I’m talking about telling someone to quit a predictable income for an unpredictable one, without ever saying that unpredictability is the nature of what you're selling them, and it’s what needs to be called out.
 Before anyone calls me a hypocrite for running a mentorship myself, I tell every student trading should always stay a side income. Never the replacement for the 9-5. Because I'm honest about which of the two behaves predictably and which one doesn't, and I'm not going to leave that part out when you sign up with me.
 This is why I only coach 40 and up. A 25 year old telling you to quit your job and go all in on trading, without ever mentioning that trading can't promise you a number the way a job can, is the red flag. Not the trading itself. What he left out when he sold it to you.
