@jka0613: Note of error on photo: Sorry I combined two costs into one thought that is wrong. The 12 packs are about $24 not $48!!This was running us about $48 a month. I mooshed the ideas and didn’t realize it until some comments. Thanks for alerting me to the error. 😩 Little changes to how you manage life can help cut your grocery costs. These are two simple ways to save you hundreds of dollars over a few months. . #groceryshopping #frugalliving #savingmoney #moneytips #fypage
I would love to not waste money on paper towels but we live in an apartment where we have to pay for laundry. Every load costs 16 quarters total. That adds up way too quick

I should’ve added that we do keep a roll of paper towels for those really yucky cleanups- like if the cat spits up a fur ball that we don’t want on our cloth rags, but one roll lasts really, really long time. 😁

But you must factor the cost of laundry detergent the washing machine your water bill and your electric bill for the dryer cause you go through a lot of towels and you really should only use them ones cause you’re getting bacteria so you use it once you leave it out there with bacteria then you dryer but even if you let it dry you’re getting more bacteria on it when you dry your thing so it’s not very sanitary I don’t think it’s safe that much money it would be interesting to see the actual details the electric bill the water bill the extra laundry soap

I have never bought garbage bags since moving into my own house. I collect every packaging bag (bulk rice, cat food, bulk cereal, soil bags) and those are my garbage containers. (Bonus, they easily fit into gas station trash bins)

I cut up old/torn/stained clothing to use as rags. I keep some for myself & donate the rest to the animal shelters.

I love this. I hate spending money on stuff I throw away. I have really been trying to rethink and rework how I do some things. I try not to use ziploc bags, foil, paper plates and such anymore. I got neat reusable containers, doing the real dishes, real cloths. It really does make a difference in my pocket, and with the amount of trash I have. Savings all around. 🙂

An amazing change that the children of my man will never make, and I am not their servant, so not doing it. But, I love this idea for when they move out on their own someday, and it’s just the two of us! 😍😍😍thank you for sharing how you made the bag dryer spot. Super cute!

I reuse most of my food plastic bags. I don’t tend to have a lot at once, but I stick them over my bottle brush and it helps prevent them from collapsing and not drying. Magnet on the fridge also works well.

Well, 6 rolls of Kroger paper towels is $5.99 when on sale, and $9.99 when not. So if you have a Kroger nearby, I just helped you save $37.99 to $41.99! You're welcome!!

you dont need a drying rack - takes up space and $ to make. turn a glass upside down and put it on that. also vinegar is a great cleaner - add a little rubbing alcohol and dish soap
