They are sisters and they are selective mute. They are also unhoused. A friend of mine with the police department would take care of them when he could find them. They have not been around for the last two years.

There was an unhoused man named Tom who we would chat up and buy coffee for regularly. My kids would tell people that he was their uncle 😂. I miss living in Bethesda. Such a unique group of humans doing life together. Now I live in Arlington and it’s a snooze fest.
