ok I dont know where this is. I do have first hand knowledge alot of counties, do not have enough money to be able to hire enough officer to cover to whole county. Some times the officers are at a different side of the county dealing with something else, before being able to respond to a call of harassment. in a timely manner. im sorry to say that. even though everyone pays taxes it still isn't enough to cover exter office. and the CO might only have one person on in that county and even he needs a day off. im not saying it's right or wrong. im not trying to offend, Im just try to hopefully help understand the possible reaction time of the enforcement officers.

What if someone was seriously injured and needed serious help? And no one could come because they didn’t have anyone available…that’s just crazy. They obviously need more officers on duty. I get it might not be the most eventful town, but it doesn’t matter. There should always be at least one person that can respond. If it was a serious medical emergency or something. They would have died before they got there. That’s not acceptable.

Not sure about your state but in PA where I am there is STRICT laws protecting hunters and fishers from harassment.

The CO or the sheriff should have done a safety check on the vessel. Idk where this was, but in Michigan we are required to have flares, fire extinguisher(up to date), enough life jackets for the amount of persons on the vessel and i believe an air horn as well. If they didn’t have those things they could be ticketed-providing that’s your state law as well I’m saying. In addition, i heard the kid say you were in the middle of the channel; does that particular lake even have a channel? At least you finally got them out there; maybe it taught the entitled little brats a lesson-humbled them a bit hopefully.
