Vinted and other second hand markets, I have picked.uo.some really sweet bargains from FB and gumtree, alternative brands, there's some good stuff out there now. My work offers quarterly bonus (which is easy to get), that's the money for larger sets, and good old fashioned saving, I bought Rivendell last week, took me 6 months to save for it. I do believe some legotokers I see rely on credit and klarna. I picked up the Porsche GT3 RS from eBay at a bargain price in August,.only downside was it was filthy, I made a whole process of dismantling and cleaning and reassembling. Made the whole build process twice as long. I find dismantling just as therapeutic.

barely ever pay full price. very rarely keep any of the bigger sets either, no space to display so theyre repackaged and sold on to fund the next one, lego fund sort of subsidising itself atm

@ribbirs-lego (John): I’ve only managed to get the assembly square off market place. Got it at a good deal. Other than that I save up for my sets. Or they’ve been Christmas/birthday pressies. I’m currently monitoring a few on market place but haven’t took the plunge yet as we just got the creel house.

I wish I had money to burn! Buttttttt as I don’t- I save a bit every month from my wage so we can get the bigger sets, and also for birthdays and Christmas etc we ask for Lego/Argos/Smyths vouchers which helps a lot 🤣 makes sense to live the Lego dream! I’d never fund it otherwise l!

Mine 😂 209 sets 😂 but I buy lots of second hand too, I also sell on a lot of sets once built, if I bought cheaply I’m happy to sell on cheaply. I only have 2 sets on display. I only have about 25sets - that I bought to keep.

I keep looking on marketplace but some people are asking silly money, I have bought a few small sets on Vinted. I manage to buy my sets as I basically don’t do anything other than work and run and have no debt so I’m in a very fortunate place but I do always keep a look out for offers and keep checking marketplace daily just in case I strike lucky x
