Hey! Just another tip I used for my carpet. I used an old hand towel and the iron and it absorbed rather quickly.

Carpet mishaps I’ve learned over the years of adulting- If you ever waste paint on carpet pour cat liter or sugar over it and then vacuum up, the liter and sugar soaks up the paint. If slime ever gets stuck on carpet, place parchment paper on top and use an iron to get it up. Club soda may also work for carpet stains. If candle wax is spilled use a damp microfiber cloth and an iron! It’ll get the wax right on up.

My husband used duct tape to fasten a runner rug in place on the entry carpet. When we picked up the runner rug, the residue from the duct tape stayed on the carpet. I have tried every cleaning product I can find and nothing lift it. Any suggestions?
